Talk: Web applications with Basement

Basement does not have its own graphical user interface for pre- and post-processing. Instead, programs such as QGIS or Paraview can be used. Customized evaluations may alternatively be programmed with scripting languages (e.g., R or python). TK CONSULT developed a comprehensive R library for modifying and visualizing cross profile data records.

With this foundation it is relatively easy to develop - via web applications - interactive graphical tools for pre- and post-processing.

The presentation shows examples for visualizing FOEN cross sections, 1D and 2D calculation results as well as online real time models.
